We gave out our first "HOME CARE PACKAGE" on April 12, 2008.
The package open the door for me to minister to the family of the residents. We recieved a call for a structure fire inside the city limits. When officer LT. Chuck Baker arrived on scene a woman was still inside the structure. He help her to safety. No one was hurt. And the crew attacked the fire. Job well done by c-shift. But the lost of property was still a problem, a since of being lost or maybe discouragement, sad, could not understand why this happened to her, was the feelings from the female that was living inside the house. The package lifted her spirit and gave her hope, Chuck and I had a chance to minister to her because of the Care Package. And she called me  the next morning, April 13, 2008 and after discussing the fire she agreed to be in church on April the 14th, (sunday) for the first time in a long while.                                                  --PRAY ABOUT THIS MATTER--
Donations
This is a ministry, (501-C3 organization) and donations are welcome. I have been selling pictures of the fire department to raise money. I also hope to begin helping families or victims of tragedy. For example when a house burns down at night, so often a family can be displaced. It may take time for help from insurance companies to become availible. I can use this money to place these displaced families in a hotel rooms, purchase clothes when needed, a meal or two. Until help can be abtained from another source. Just getting them put up some where so they can get themselves back on track, away from the scene of the tragedy, can in itself be a big relief. I also will purchase bibles, we as firefighters come into contact with people from all over the community, this would give me a chance to evanglise, or spread the word. These bibles would open the door for conversation.
I have done placed three families in  a motel room after their house  burned. The average cost per family is around $120.00 - $150.00. By the time I put them in a room, Get them one or two meals, and try to help furnish supplies for their stay. Also this opens the door for ministry also.

Trailor Fire
Hodges Loop
Second Victim helped. This situation was unique. We received an alarm, structure fire reported. Upon arrival, found a single wide trailor in flames, well involved. No one was home upon arrival. But a single female arrived, she was the owner. Had two small children. No insurance, disowned by her parents, no one seemed to care for her. She had no where to go. After talking with this female, I also found out that she was a cutter (she would cut herself trying to relieve the pains of life). She was also an atheist (did not believe in God).
The package open the door for me to minister to her. At first I was getting no where. But as we talked and discussed life, and all the troubles she was going through. I really made what I felt like was progress. I know a seed was planted. And we also got to put her up in a motel room. I got with her the next morning, where I was able to feed them breakfast. The room and package was needed in this situation, it brought hope and  it did lift her spirit.

Nashville Ave
Basement fire
We were called out to a structure fire on Nashville Ave. Flames and smoke showing. The residence of the structure were a young married couple, they had six children. And again had no where to go. The house was destroyed by smoke, and the basement was burned. Very few things were saved that could be used. We were able to put them up in a motel room. The landlord also put them up for a night.  They were put up for two nights. And recieved a care package with supplies.

I would like to thank everyone for the donations that have come in. It all  goes to God. And will be used for the purpose of helping victims of tragedy and buying packages. And in anyway that will benefit the kingdom of God.
I believe that every donation makes a difference. I ask you to please support my cause and consider a donation.

FAITH HOPE AND LIVES

We need donations and support from external organizations that uphold the religious cause. There can be know doubt about that. The Fellowship of Christian Firefighters does not run on profits and so these donations are really crucial for us to be able to help these victims.

Victims of Tragedy – Placement – Encouragement – Loving - Caring
Moving on after a tragedy can be hard. But with our help we can love, care for, encourage and with the care package with can build hope and live into these people in need.

By helping these victims from house fire, accident, storms damage (whatever the case is) we can enable them to experience the fullness of life God offers. Your donations will be used to bring out our compassion to the local area, and lift the spirits of the broken hearted and those that face these terrible situations.

We can work together in building a better Sylacauga as well as a better area for our neighbors. The name of our organization is The South Talladega County Fellowship of Christian Firefighters.

Thank You So Much For Visiting Our Site

Mar 9:41  For whoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, truly I say to you, He shall not lose his reward.

Mat 25:34  Then the King shall say to those on His right hand, Come, blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Mat 25:35  For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in;
Mat 25:36  I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.
Mat 25:37  Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed You? Or thirsty, and gave You drink?
Mat 25:38  When did we see You a stranger, and took You in? Or naked, and clothed You?
Mat 25:39  Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You?
Mat 25:40  And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you have done it to Me.

Sylacauga Fire Department, County Line FD, & Oak Grove FD
Responded to a structure fire, Time of call was 4:19 pm Dec 27. The owner turned on the stove and it blowed up setting the house on fire. Thank God no one was hurt, they all made it out to safety. But everything was lost, a dad, a mom and three children ages 6,4 and 3 all out of home and belongings. We where able to immediately get them a care package, thanks to Faith, Hope and Lives. Also purchased clothing for the children. It was two days after Christmas so some toys were gathered for the children.
I am so thankful for the help we receive in helping to these victim of fires (tragedies)
it means so much to me that we are able to asist these victim and show them the love of God through this christian organization.

Had single mother from Stemely, AL
Her House had burned, nothing left, nowhere to go. 2 days before Christmas.
30 miles north of Sylacauga, thank God for getting her to us so we could help!!!
Had five children, made contact with me. The fellowship had there first victim that was in distress. The South Talladega county Fellowship of Christian Firefighters were still in the process of forming an organization, working through all the red tape. Becoming 501 (c) 3, non-profit organzation. But it was time for action. We came together, put her in a motel room, Birmingham Fire Dept. sent us some toys for the kids. I also was able to receive help from Oak Grove Baptist and Freewill Baptist Churches in Sylacauga, I would really like to thank the local churches for the help we receive. The Oak Grove Baptist church also helped us with a family that had come to Sylacauga from Hurricane Katrina, when called they responded with the love of God. Thanks for your help.  We also furnished them with Christmas dinner.
